Congratulations, this is the stuff entrepreneurs are made of. The no-holds-barred, take no prisoners and smile while pushing the boundaries point of view. This is the stuff a true maverick is made from as well. In fact, this is how this country was founded, on the backs of immigrants and the entrepreneurial spirit. It’s pretty amazing to look around today and see what those founding mavericks of non-conformity, think-outside-the-box men and women created. It’s the moxy that’s helped you pioneer your own business, right!?
So, why so sad? Why are you feeling stuck? Perhaps a little overwhelmed? Chances are you’ve stepped back into the “security of conformity” once again. That’s why you’re stuck honey. You’ve gone away from your natural, innate manner of thinking.

It all sounds risqué when I put it that way doesn’t it? But the reality is that it’s not risqué it’s down right risky! Many successful entrepreneurs are trapped by the “security of conformity.” We can all revert back to these old programs when in fact our true maverick nature is to do things differently than the pack. To take risks (calculated ones!). And to blaze a trail. That’s why you became an entrepreneur in the first place, right?
My challenge to you is to put those steel tipped boots on and kick down that wall TODAY. Your business simply will not work if you’re playing by rules someone else put in place.
Here’s the barometer. If what you’re being told to do isn’t in alignment with the mission or purpose of your business then it’s not right for you.
